I will address "beckoning boards & burning bellies" at the beginning of the New Year. For now... There is so much for which to be grateful throughout the year. So, why wait until the "season" is upon us? Resistance to expressions of joy and goodwill are usually at an all time low during the holidays. Unfettered expressions of love in all of their variations are socially acceptable or at least tolerated for about six weeks. Regardless of beliefs, disbeliefs, non-beliefs, everyone from pagan to pious to the politically expedient will at least accept a little affection, with a modicum of fuss. My personal "thank you" list is far too long, but
